I love to teach. In my former life, I loved teaching English and reading to elementary through college students, but teaching knitting has become my true passion. I love sharing my love of knitting with others, the connection it creates between me and my students, and the impact knitting can have on my students’ lives.

I am available for small group classes and private instruction from beginning to advanced-intermediate levels, kids through adult. I especially love teaching beginners, lace, cables, shawls, socks, finishing, how to fix mistakes, and sweater knitting.

I also work at Needlepoint Joint on Historic 25th Street and teach classes, host Knitting Support Group, and run Knitalongs and community events through the shop. Click here for the shop’s current class schedule.

Please contact me to schedule knitting classes with me or to get more information on already scheduled events.
