Knitting people together through community events!
I have loved hosting various community events. Everyone is always invited, regardless of knitting ability or experience.
Some of our past community events include Yarn Bombing 25th Street, Worldwide Knit in Public Day, Knitting Hats for the Homeless, and NPJ Shawl Events. Our first Knitalong was a success, with eight of us finishing the beautiful Jujuy Shawl by Joji Locatelli. The first Shawl Society Knitalong was brilliantly fun, with sixteen of us trying to knit six shawls in six months along with Helen Stewart’s First Shawl Society and last year, thirteen of us joined together to it again for Shawl Society II!
